Following in the recent footsteps of global pop superstars like Lana Del Rey, Beyonce and Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly seems to be the latest big name act attempting to make a pivot towards country music.

mgk – ‘Sun to Me’ (Zach Bryan Cover)
It comes after mgk performed a set during CMA Fest in the US, including a cover of The Chicks’ country hit ‘There’s Your Trouble’ from their debut album, Wide Open Spaces.
What’s more, as Consequence Of Sound reports, the soft-launch of his country music career is set to continue next month, with mgk slated to perform live at two more country events, Wyoming’s Cheyenne Frontier Days and the North Dakota State Fair.
Is a country music conspiracy afoot in the pop world? Only time will tell…
