Naarm/Melbourne-based funk-pop artist Zachary Leo has just unveiled his new EP On My Mind, a soulful seven-track collection of retro synth-driven gems and groove-infused anthems.
Lyrically, Leo describes the extended player as an authentic representation of himself as an artist.

“The EP’s title and title track centres around mental health and, more specifically, my struggles with anxiety, but it also alludes to the fact that every song on the EP represents a feeling or thought that could be on my mind at any time or all at once,” he explains in a press statement.
“Seven tracks, lots of thoughts and absolute chaos. This project was an opportunity for me to work on some songs that I had been holding onto for a long time and share them with the world. I have felt my songwriting and sound shaping a lot over the last four years and this project was a chance for me to bring that all together and just pour it all out onto the canvas.”
To celebrate the release, Leo will be performing a headline show at The Bergy Bandroom in his home town of Naarm/Melbourne on Saturday, 27th July.
