This LG UltraWide monitor is considered a budget monitor, even at its full $249.99 listing price. This means that you won’t get 4K resolution, smart features, or gaming monitor specs. What you do get is an IPS panel with a 2,560 by 1,080 resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10. While it isn’t designed for gaming, it does have AMD Freesync and a 100 Hz refresh rate, so it can handle games better than your regular budget monitor.
The monitor is mountable in case you don’t want to use the stand that it comes with. In terms of inputs, it has a display port, USB-C display port (which lets you connect any device to it with a single cable), HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The design is decent, and the white looks clean (that’s what the “W” in the 29WQ600-W model number stands for). Keep in mind this monitor only tilts back and forth, with no height adjustment, swivel or pivot.
