With the first-ever Peach at the Beach event in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday, July 13th now less than a month away, the one-day Peach Music Festival spinoff has announced its full performance schedule and revealed the details for a number of specials sets due to take place in the venue’s massive waterpark facility—which the largest indoor beachfront waterpark in the world.
Set to take place at the new Summer Concert Stage at ISLAND Waterpark at Showboat Resort, The Peach at the Beach—produced by Live Nation in partnership with The Allman Brothers Band—will offer a full day of music on the main Peach Stage including reggae singer Mykal Rose of Black Uhuru (3:00 p.m.), psych-rock bass queen Karina Rykman (4:00 p.m.), new-generation Allman Brothers Band tribute ensemble Trouble No More performing Eat a Peach (5:30 p.m.), and Jersey jam quintet Dogs In A Pile (7:15) in addition to a two-set headlining show by Dead-plus live juggernaut/veteran Peach headliner Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (9:00).
In addition to the main stage, Peach at the Beach will feature a number of early sets at a second waterpark stage for GA+, VIP, and Super VIP ticket-holders. DJ King Mega (11:00 a.m.) and DJ Logic (12:00 p.m.) are slated to kick off the festivities before Dogs In A Pile take over for a special waterpark performance (2:00 p.m.). Uncle Jesse will assume DJ duties at 3:15 to round out the daytime waterpark programming. Peach at the Beach will also offer fans a number of late-night performances and adjacent shows in Atlantic City. On Friday, July 12th at 9:00 p.m., The Disco Biscuits will get the party started early with a pre-party at the Bourbon Ballroom inside the Showboat Resort. On Saturday, July 13th, after headlining Peach at the Beach with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, keyboardist Marco Benevento will gather a group of his musical comrades (and “surprise special guests”) for a Marco Benevento & Friends set at Bourbon Ballroom (1:00 a.m.). The July 13th “Peach After Dark” docket will also include Doom Flamingo performing a Queen is Doomed tribute set (12:00 a.m.) and an opening set by DJ Logic (11:30 p.m.).
Tickets for the inaugural Peach at the Beach—including Super VIP packages (which include access to the Friday night pre-party set, the Saturday late-night set, and passes to the ISLAND Water Park at Showboat Resort on Saturday), are on sale now. VIP and GA+ tickets include passes to the ISLAND Water Park at Showboat on Saturday with additional amenities.
