Alt-rock stalwarts Modest Mouse and Pixies brought their joint tour to New York’s Forest Hills Stadium Friday night.
After completing a co-headlining last year, the two indie veterans have reunited for another run of U.S. dates, joined again by Cat Power.
The tour stopped in New York on Friday for a night of ’90s and early aughts nostalgia, with each band performing classic material stretching back to Pixies’ 1988 breakout album Surfer Rosa, which featured their biggest hit, “Where is My Mind”.
After stopping at Forest Hills, the three acts traveled to Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA before continuing on to the Midwest. The tour continues with shows in Minneapolis, MN, Madison, WI, Waukee, IA, Kansas City, MO, Austin, TX, Irving, TX, Rogers, AR, and Greenwood Village, CO. Click below for a list of upcoming dates.
