Rocking the Docks will be doing just that during the summer of 2024 with a ten-week schedule of outdoor concerts at the Lewes Ferry terminal in Lewes, DE. The family-friendly concert series will bring both nationally touring acts and top-tier tribute bands to the scenic waterside locale.
The 2024 Rocking the Docks concert series will kick off with back-to-back shows its first week, starting with The Rolling Stones tribute Classic Stones Live on Wednesday, June 12th followed by singer-songwriter Cris Jacobs with opener Sweet Leda the following day. A highlight on the schedule is the highly anticipated return of The Amish Outlaws, the hard-rocking band comprised of several men who were born into the Amish community in Lancaster, PA but left in adolescence and found lives in music.
The music schedule runs through August, with shows by premier Fleetwood Mac tribute Tusk (7/3), The Band drummer/vocalist Levon Helm’s daughter Amy Helm (7/10), Allman Brothers Band kin Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel (7/11), The Record Company (7/26), The Dip (8/7), and more before wrapping with Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass featuring The Hillbenders (8/14). The all-ages outdoor concerts take place on the green at the ferry terminal beginning at 6 p.m.

“We’re excited to have the summer concert season back upon us,” event organizer Matt VanBelle said. “Our team has been hard at work to make sure we continue to deliver a world-class music experience in such a beautiful scenic space right on the water.”
Organizers have continued to improve the beloved community event through the years and in 2024 have introduced a dedicated food truck schedule. Culinary offerings will rotate every evening with local vendors Cucina Veloce, Changing Mains, Papi’s Empanadas, Grandpa Mac, and many more. This summer will also see the addition of a vendor market to further Rocking the Docks’ commitment to local small artisans.

Tickets for the 2024 Rocking the Docks concert series are on sale here. The Dewey Beach Picnic Co.’s VIP tent is back in 2024, with newly upgraded stage views and amenities. VIP ticket holders will have early access at 5 p.m. and use of a private bar under the shady tent. Kids under 12 are admitted free and parking is free. See below for the full concert schedule.
