The String Cheese Incident has revealed the themes and guests for its upcoming run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.
Arriving during the band’s year-long 30th anniversary celebration, the three-night run will pay tribute to three regions that have influenced SCI’s musical journey with The New Orleans Incidet, The Colorado Incident, and The Nashville Incident.
Kicking off on Friday, July 12th, the run will begin with The New Orleans Incident featuring George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville & Phunky Friends featuring Tony Hall, Ian Neville, Deven Trusclair, Dumpsta Horns, and special guest Tarriona “Tank” Ball (of Tank & The Bangas). Then Saturday, July 13th will honor the band’s Rocky Mountain home state, where they were inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2022, with The Colorado Incident, which is billed as “an evening with The String Cheese Incident.” Finally, the run will conclude on Sunday, July 14th with The Nashville Incident featuring previously announced guests Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, and Sierra Hull. Fans are encouraged to dress up according to each night’s theme.
The String Cheese Incident also announced plans to light up Red Rocks with the venue’s first-ever world-class drone show in honor of the band’s milestone 30th Anniversary in collaboration with Nova Sky Stories.
