Tyler Childers has released his contribution to the loaded country soundtrack album for the upcoming Twister sequel, Twisters. The track he chose to include, “Song While You’re Away”, has been a fan-favorite for the better part of a decade thanks largely to a widely viewed Red Barn Radio live acoustic rendition but has never been included on one of Childers’ own studio releases.
Childers’ “Song While You’re Away” is the latest in a string of pre-release singles from the Twisters album, a 29-track compilation of previously unreleased original material featuring some of the biggest names in the world of contemporary country music. Other artists featured on the album include Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Leon Bridges, Shania Twain, The Red Clay Strays, Charley Crockett, and many more.
