Widespread Panic will return to the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI on October 25th, 26th, and 27th, the band announced on Monday. The three-night, pre-Halloween run marks Panic’s 11th trip to the Riverside dating back to 2013.
Tickets for the Widespread Panic run in Milwaukee, including single night and three-show passes, go on sale on Friday, June 7th at 10 a.m. CT via the Pabst Theater Group.
The Milwaukee announcement adds to what is already shaping up to be a busy year for Widespread Panic. The Athens, GA blues-jam bulldogs extended their annual stay in Colorado this year, where they are set to open for The Rolling Stones at Empower Field at Mile High on Thursday, June 20th before taking over Red Rocks Amphitheatre on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Also on the calendar for Panic are a run in Asheville, NC (7/25–7/27), the band’s first Boston shows in nearly a decade (8/22–8/24), and a trip to Las Vegas (9/20–9/22). The band recently released its fifth new single of the year, “Cosmic Confidante“, ahead of a two-night Memorial Day Weekend run in Memphis, TN that saw collaborations with openers Margo Price and Paul Cauthen. Though not yet officially confirmed by the band, bassist Dave Schools did say that Widespread Panic has recorded a new album, with online retailers showing an LP called Snake Oil King arriving June 14th.
