311 kicked off its Unity Tour over the weekend with shows at Hard Rock Cincinnati Outdoor Arena in Cincinnati, OH and The Salt Shed in Chicago, IL on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Special guests Neon Trees opened, followed by AWOLNATION, each bringing a danceable electro-pop element to complement the reggae-rock sounds of 311’s headlining set. 311, the celebrated Nebraska natives, started strong each night with “Beautiful Disaster” before working through a wide range of deep cuts, newer songs like “What The?!?”, and classic hits like “All Mixed Up”, “Amber”, and “Down”, which closed both shows.
