Strings, who earned New Artist of the Year in 2019 and subsequently won Entertainer of the Year in 2021, 2022, and 2023, is once again nominated for a number of awards including Entertainer of the Year, Guitarist of the Year, and Collaborative Recording of the Year for his contribution to Tony Trischka‘s “Brown’s Ferry Blues”.
Tuttle also landed a few nominations including Guitarist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year, as well as Vocal Group of the Year and Album of the Year with her band Golden Highway for their album City of Gold. Sierra Hull, meanwhile, is up against Sam Bush, Ronnie McCoury, and others for Mandolinist of Year, while the crowded field of Banjo Player of the Year nominees includes Allison Brown, Rob McCoury, and Bela Fleck, who also received a nod for “Rhapsody in Blue(grass)” in the Instrumental Recording of the Year category.
