Muscle Shoals, Alabama’s by-way-of Athens, Georgia’s Drive-By Truckers packed The Belasco for the Los Angeles stop on their highly anticipated “Southern Rock Opera Revisited” tour.

The band is fronted by Trucker stalwarts, co-lead vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, along with multi-instrumentalists/vocalists Jay Gonzalez and Matthew Patton, and drummer Brad Morgan. They performed their entire critically-acclaimed, double, third album, 2001’s autobiographical via Lynyrd Skynyrd-homage “Southern Rock Opera” as well as an assortment of fan-favorites and deeper cuts.

Along with a wealth of humorous and heartfelt anecdotes and homespun stories with colorful band banter throughout, they delighted their dedicated fans and no doubt enlightened many new ones to their rightful place in the legacy of Southern Rock.
