Heart announces that their tour is postponed in a surprise to fans. The Royal Flush tour is now postponed.
Our thoughts and hopes are with Ann Wilson while she heals.
The tour was to include dates in Canada and the United States this summer. The optimism that the dates will be rescheduled is reassuring. Heart remains one of the most beloved bands of their era and their ability to mix classic rock, blues, and even hard rock made them one of the most influential bands of their time.
This is a summer filled with postponements and cancellations including a full stop on the tour with J Lo, a cancellation for the tour of the Black Keys amid low ticket sales, and recent cancellations for Pearl Jam, Neil Young, and Willie Nelson.
The superstars of classic rock, like all of us, are aging. Time is undefeated, and the amount of time we have left to see major artists from the Rolling Stones to Heart, and those mentioned above is fleeting. Get out there and see live music, whether one of the classics or a great new band.
