My Morning Jacket linked up with Karina Rykman for a pair of shows in Michigan this week, including stops at Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater in Grand Rapids and Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
The highlight of the two-night outing came on Tuesday as Rykman joined MMJ onstage for a cover of “The National Anthem” by Radiohead—a tune MMJ recently debuted at the band’s One Big Holiday destination festival in Mexico.
