Phish’s summer tour returned to the Boston area for the first of a three-night stander at the X-finity Center, in Mansfield, MA.
The Boys from Vermont took the stage a little after 7:30p. Trey’s infectious smile greeted the fans, and he was sure to make eye contact with the crowd. Phish broke into Buried Alive which then blended into Character Zero to everyone’s delight. The long wait is over, summer tour is here!
The rest of the show was sprinkled with other tasty favorites like Down With Disease, Stash, Suzy Greenberg, and Run Like an Antelope. The band finished the night with Harry Hood as the encore. The whole second set was one giant segue with each song giving way to the next.
This was a night of classic Phish to be sure!
