A new music festival has been announced for Perth: Promise Village, which is set to take part in the city’s Langley Park this coming October. The hip-hop and rnb festival will bring together a mix of local, national and international acts – many of which who will be performing in the city for the first time. The full line-up, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
Headlining the festival will be English Afroswing artist J Hus, who was recently announced as a headliner for Promiseland, Promise Village’s sister festival on the east coast. Other Promiseland acts, such as UK garage rapper Headie One and neo-soul singer-songwriter Jorja Smith, will also perform at the festival.

“This is a long time coming for Perth,” said Emal Naim – the co-organiser of the festival – in a press statement. “”We can’t wait to host a music festival on a global standard to a community of fans who have been waiting patiently.”
Promise Village marks the only other Australian dates for both J Hus and Smith. It also marks the only west-coast date for Headie One, who has additionally announced his own headlining shows in both Sydney and Melbourne while in Australia for the very first time.
