The Script have announced an Australian tour, set to take place in early 2025 across late January and early February. The Irish pop quartet will play indoor shows in Sydney and Wollongong, with the rest of the run focused on outdoor shows as part of the second A Day On The Green concert series for 2025 – following on from the previously-announced Teskey Brothers run.
Joining The Script for all dates of their tour are American pop trio X Ambassadors. The band were last in Australia last year, supporting The Vamps on a theatre tour of the country. The Day On The Green shows, meanwhile, will see both acts joined by ‘Dancing On My Own’ singer Calum Scott, Montaigne and, for all dates except Perth, Lotte Gallagher.
The Script – ‘Both Ways’
The Script last toured Australia in September 2022, as part of their world tour in support of their greatest-hits album Tales From The Script. It marked the band’s final tour with guitarist Mark Sheehan, who passed away last year at the age of 46. Since Sheehan’s death, remaining members Danny O’Donoghue (vocals) and Glen Power (drums) have continued with two new official members: longtime session/touring bassist Ben Sergeant and guitarist Ben Weaver.
The Australian shows come as part of their world tour in support of their forthcoming seventh studio album, Satellites. The album is set for release in a matter of weeks on Friday, August 16th via BMG. Two singles have been released from it thus far: ‘Both Ways’ in May, and ‘At Your Feet’ in July.

A pre-sale for the the Sydney and Wollongong shows will go live from Tuesday, August 6th at 10am AEST via Frontier. A pre-sale for the other shows will also take place on Tuesday, August 6th at 10am local time, and can be signed up for here. General sale will commence from 12pm local time on Friday, August 9th via Ticketmaster and Ticketek (Sydney only).
