THE SWEET, one of the most recognizable rock bands of the ’70s, is back with a new single and video, “Little Miracle,” released on July 25 through Dark Star Records via Sony/Orchard.
Known for their melodic and anthemic sound and glam look, THE SWEET continues to captivate audiences with this pop rock funky love song.
THE SWEET – ‘Little Miracle’
The “Little Miracle” video features model Dominique Mercedes in her debut appearance, capturing the essence of true love with her innocent yet enticing beauty. Lead singer Patrick Alan Stone and his bandmates deliver a catchy tune that’s sure to be a hit.
THE SWEET’s classic lineup in the ’70s included Brian Connolly, Steve Priest, Mick Tucker, and Andy Scott. After the passing of Connolly and Tucker, Priest ensured that THE SWEET continued with the same energy and talent. The band enjoyed success worldwide until Priest’s passing in 2020.
The new lineup, SWEET 2024, includes frontman Patrick Alan Stone, guitarist Jimmy Burkard, keyboardist Dave Schulz, bassist Stevie Stewart, and drummer Richie Onori. This group carries on the legacy of THE SWEET, bringing their iconic sound to a new generation.
THE SWEET achieved massive success in the ’70s with hits like “Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox On the Run,” “Love Is Like Oxygen,” “Little Willy,” “Blockbuster,” “Action,” “Teenage Rampage,” and “AC/DC.” “Little Miracle” marks the beginning of the group’s journey into a new demographic, with more new songs on the way.
This latest release showcases the same driving force and unpredictable musical quality that has always defined THE SWEET’s sound.
