Triple j has unveiled its super-stacked lineup for One Night Stand 2024.
Back for the first time in five years, the iconic one-day, all-ages, drug and alcohol-free festival will this year feature sets from a bunch of the youth music station’s fave acts, including Hottest 100 record-breaker G Flip and ARIA Award-winning chart-topper Ruel.

Local super-producer What So Not will also be in attendance with the intriguing caveat “+ Friends”, suggesting punters will likely be treated to a few surprise guests in their set. While elsewhere, Meanjin-born, Gamilaraay Woman and beloved singer-songwriter Thelma Plum, First Nations singer, songwriter and producer Sycco and WA punk four-piece DICE also feature on the lineup.
As always, a triple j Unearthed competition winner will be picked to open up the festivities on Saturday, 14th September.
The location for this year’s event still remains a mystery, after rural and regional punters across the nation were invited to nominate their hometown to host.
Triple j will reveal the lucky spot live on air this week, during the Breakfast show broadcast this Thursday, 25th July from 6am.
The very first One Night Stand kicked off 20 years ago with a big blow-out in Natimuk, Western Victoria with the goal of bringing some of Australia’s hottest acts and rising stars to regional and rural areas.
The event has since taken place in the likes of Lucindale SA (2019), St Helens (TAS), Mount Isa QLD (2017), Geraldton WA (2016), Mildura VIC (2014) and Dubbo NSW (2013).
This year, triple j will also be teaming up with Music Australia to put on the comeback bash and raising critical funds for Australian music industry charity, Support Act in the process.
