TroutStock Music Festival returns for its fourth iteration this weekend with a truly stacked lineup that includes Kung Fu, Consider the Source, Lee Ross, Hayley Jane, Woody & the Rebel Alliance, Octave Cat, Creamery Station, Bombtrack, rice: an American Band, Jelly, Whalom Park, The Humans Being– and of course Leon Trout headlining on Friday and performing again on Saturday- plus many more incredible acts! The new location of this fest, Millers Falls Rod & Gun Club, is nestled in the heart of Franklin County in rural Montague MA and is the perfect spot to camp, enjoy these fantastic bands, and mingle with friends and loved ones in an intimate setting.
According to the Leon Trout folks, “TroutStock Music Festival started as a crazy idea to throw a party with some friends, but then quickly developed into so much more. Created by musicians, with years of experience playing and attending festivals, the goal was to create a grassroots, non-commercialized intimate festival like no other. Experience your favorite local musicians as well as national touring groups up close and personal for a weekend you will never forget.”
Important to note: There is a strict NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL policy for the entire property- even camping areas- for this year’s event. The organizers explain, “Yes we understand that this is different from many of the festivals that you attend, but with extremely affordable prices, there is still plenty of alcohol to enjoy for the weekend without breaking the bank. Since the club’s liquor license covers their entire property, instead of being confined to small beer gardens, you can enjoy your drinks freely throughout the entire festival. Please respect this rule.”

The Millers Falls Rod & Gun Club Inc. was incorporated under general laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on May 6, 1953. Our Purpose is to provide for friendly relations, social welfare, and interests to its members, their friends, and guests; to promote interest in hunting, fishing, and their related activities; and to recognize and support practical legislation concerning the propagation and protection of fish and game within this Commonwealth.
