Cosmic Country ax-slinger Daniel Donato will make his debut at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry in his hometown of Nashville, TN on August 24th, 2024.
Having risen through the ranks of jam bands, Donato will make his mark on one of country music’s most prestigious stages with a lineup also featuring Opry member Bill Anderson and all-female bluegrass quintet Sister Sadie. The show will take place at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium, which has been home to the Opry since 1943.
“I am thrilled to announce that the day has arrived to pick and sing in one of the most Cosmic events and traditions our world has ever witnessed,” Donato wrote in an announcement posted to social media.
Originally founded as a radio program called the “WSM Barn Dance” in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry hosts a two-hour live show showcasing country legends and rising stars multiple times each week. The long-running program has become a revered cultural touchstone and a platform for country music, bluegrass, folk, and Americana artists to reach a national audience.
