Joe Walsh has announced his VetsAid benefit will return for its 8th year with a lineup featuring Eric Church, Toto, and Kool & The Gang, in addition to Walsh himself.
Set to take place Monday, November 11th at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, NY (located 30 minutes from Penn Station or Grand Central via LIRR), VetsAid 2024 will mark the show’s first return to the East Coast since it was founded by Walsh 2017.
Both Joe Walsh and his wife, VetsAid co-founder Marjorie Walsh, were born into military families: Marjorie, a Queens native, is the daughter of a WWII Air Force veteran and Purple Heart recipient, while Walsh’s father was a flight instructor for the first U.S. operational jet powered aircraft, the Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star, and died while stationed in Okinawa when Walsh was only 20 months old. Through VetsAid, they have raised and disbursed nearly $3,500,000 to veterans causes to date.

I honor our collective faith in the power of music to bring fans of diverse backgrounds together in celebration and our faith in the power of love to unite us all as Americans to support a population of veterans that has sacrificed so much and asked for so little in return. Tickets for VetsAid 2024 will go on sale Friday, August 16th at 10:00 a.m. ET, with all proceeds directly benefiting a number of veterans’ services charities chosen through a rigorous vetting process. Joe Walsh is also gearing up to join Eagles for the band’s Sphere residency, which is set to kick off next month.
