In what amounts to a duet between two music icons, personal and audio technology pioneers Denon have announced a global partnership with pop queen Katy Perry.
The collaboration is in the form of the new range of Denon PerL – True Wireless earbuds, poised to create an ultimate listening experience for fans that will enhance their connection to Perry’s new music, most notably her forthcoming album 143, set for release on September 20th.
The truly personalised listening experience comes via game-changing Masimo AAT (Adaptive Acoustic Technology), a software that provides acoustic personalisation. The new PerL and PerL Pro series feature microphones built into the earbuds, interactively creating and calibrating a personalised audio profile for individual users, based on their ears’ full hearing response.
The PerL range is hand-tuned by the Denon Sound Master to deliver a vivid and spacious sound quality, and feature active noise cancellation, Denon signature sound, up to 6-hour battery (18 via case), customisable touch controls (four touch inputs on each earbud let you control play/pause, skip track, change volume, bass and more) and are weather/sweat resistant.
The PerL Pro series features CD-quality sound from Qualcomm aptX lossless technology (allowing high quality voice calls) and spatial audio from Dirac Virtuo, as well as up to an 8-hour battery (24 via case), adaptive active noise cancellation and weather/sweat resistance. You can also connect to two devices via Multipoint.
Recently announced as the entertainment headliner at the upcoming AFL Grand Final, Perry knows what she wants by way of good quality sound. She knows a PerL when she sees – and hears – one.
