Mum’s Chrissy present is sorted this year, because Roxy Music legend Bryan Ferry has just announced a monumental 81-track album collection spanning his 50-year solo career.
Dubbed Retrospective: Selected Recordings 1973-2023, the collection of songs from across his 16 solo albums is due for release on Friday, 25th October and you can pre-save/pre-order it right here.

The album will be released in multiple formats, including a 5CD deluxe box set featuring all 81 songs, accompanied by a 100-page hardback book containing extensive new liner notes, rare and unseen photographs and imagery.
It’ll also cop a digital release, alongside a forthcoming brand new song entitled ‘Star’.
The collection marks a big milestone for Ferry fans, bringing together the artist’s classic recorded output with Island Records, Polydor, Virgin, E.G. Records and BMG for the very first time, along with two brand new recordings.
And that’s not all, three digital EP releases will also be loosed over the coming months. The first of which, She Belongs To Me, sees Ferry come full circle, returning to the Bob Dylan songbook for the first time since his first ever solo release.
You can listen to the EP here.
