Human Nature have announced a national tour of their native Australia, set to take place across March and April of 2025. The tour, dubbed the MTWN20 tour, is set to commemorate 20 years since the four-piece vocal group abandoned their pop roots as as boy band and pivoted to being Motown revivalists with their fifth studio album Reach Out. In a unique show format, the group will partially open for itself. One half of Human Nature, the Tierney Brothers, will serve as the tour’s support act with a set of their own music. “We’re absolutely buzzing to bring this show to our Aussie fans,” said group member Toby Allen in a press statement. “Motown holds such a special place in our hearts, and we know this 20th anniversary tour will be an incredible celebration of music, memories, and all the love from our fans over the years.”
Human Nature – ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’
Following the relative commercial underperformance of 2004’s Walk The Tightrope, their final album as a boy band, Human Nature rebranded with the release of 2005’s Reach Out: The Motown Record. The album saw a major uptick in the group’s success, topping the ARIA Albums Chart (their first album to do so since 1999) and going six times platinum – outselling even their four-times platinum debut Telling Everybody from 1996. Five of the quartet’s eight ensuing studio albums have also gone platinum since focusing on Motown, soul and rnb covers.
