coldplay expands record breaking music of the spheres tour with 2025 north american dates
Just days after the release of its highly anticipated tenth studio album, Moon Music, Coldplay has revealed plans to extend its record-shattering Music of the Spheres World Tour into 2025, adding ten new North American stadium dates to the itinerary [ticketing info].
Since launching the Music of the Spheres tour in 2022, Coldplay has played to over 10 million fans, making it the most attended tour by any band in history. The tour has already earned top honors like Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 American Music Awards and Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.
Among the newly announced stops are several first-time performances in iconic venues. Coldplay will make its stadium debuts in Stanford, CA (5/31), Las Vegas, NV (6/6), Denver, CO (6/10), El Paso, TX (6/13), Nashville, TN (7/22), and Madison, WI (7/19). Notably, the Madison concert will be the first musical event at Wisconsin’s Camp Randall Stadium in nearly three decades. The band will also be one of the first acts to play at Toronto, ON’s state-of-the-art Rogers Stadium (7/7, 7/8), a new outdoor venue opening at the city’s YZD site in 2025.
As part of Coldplay’s commitment to inclusivity, a limited number of “Infinity Tickets” will be available for all shows. Priced at just $20 each, these tickets aim to provide fans with affordable access to the tour, and will be released in pairs on a first-come, first-served basis. The location of these seats will be revealed when fans collect their tickets at the venue on the day of the show.
Fans can sign up now through October 10th at 10:00 a.m. ET for a pre-sale, which will begin on October 11th at 9:00 a.m. local venue time. In line with the band’s groundbreaking sustainability efforts, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour has already set a new standard for eco-conscious touring. The band recently announced that they have reduced their tour’s carbon emissions by 59% compared to their 2016–2017 stadium tour, surpassing their original target of a 50% reduction.
