Dark Star Orchestra will return to Legend Valley for its annual Dark Star Jubilee festival on May 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2025. The long-running Grateful Dead tribute act will perform a full, two-set performance each night of the festival in Thornville, OH.
Though Tuesday’s Save the Date announcement did not include any lineup information beyond DSO, the band did reveal that blind faith passes for the 12th Dark Star Jubilee will go on sale Friday, October 25th here. These will be the lowest-priced tickets for next year’s festival, with $100 off the GA gate price and $150 off the VIP gate price.
“Over the years, the fans, bands, crew and staff have united as one creating a vibe that is unparalleled in the festival world,” organizers wrote on social media. “As soon as you pass through the gates and set up your camp, you’ll enjoy a relaxing, energizing and inspiring atmosphere immersed with the kindest people on the planet. It’s a Family Thing! For all those returning we can’t wait to have you again, and to our first timers, we cannot wait to welcome you to the Jubilee!”
Launched in 2012, Dark Star Jubilee has long been a staple of the Midwestern summer music festival circuit. In addition to hosting three nights of the preeminent Grateful Dead tribute act, the Jubilee presents a diverse undercard of established and up-and-coming talent. The Dark Star Jubilee marks the latest addition to DSO’s steadily growing 2025 calendar. After wrapping 2024 with its “Cosmic New Year’s Run“, Dark Star Orchestra will head south to Jamaica for the band’s annual Jam in the Sand getaway.
