The star-studded Concert for Carolina Hurricane Helene relief benefit on Saturday, October 26th will be available to livestream, organizers revealed on Tuesday. The pay-per-view livestream, added due to “overwhelming demand,” will ensure that all fans and supporters of the cause can catch the show after in-person tickets quickly sold out last week. Proceeds from Concert for Carolina ticket and livestream sales will benefit Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Eblen Charities, and the organizations supported by Chief Cares, all of which are doing important relief work for the people in the Carolina region in the wake of the devastating storm. Hosted on global streaming platform Veeps, the pay-per-view livestream will cost $24.99 per person, with an option for additional donations available. In order to best serve the Carolina community, Veeps will use geo-targeting to make the livestream free to watch for people in areas affected by the storm. Find more details here.
The concert, presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, will take place on Saturday, October 26th, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC and feature previously announced performances by Billy Strings, James Taylor, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, and Bailey Zimmerman. Alongside the Veeps livestream announcement, the Concert for Carolina revealed further additions to the show’s artist lineup including North Carolinians The Avett Brothers, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, and Parmalee. The event will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley.
