Suwannee Hulaween 2025 is currently underway, and The String Cheese Incident fans don’t have to miss a minute of the band thanks to nugs.net. The concert streaming platform will broadcast the host band’s performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including two sets with the Grateful Dead‘s Bob Weir as The Bobby Weir Incident.
The streaming platform will air seven sets of The String Cheese Incident across three nights, beginning Friday, October 25th with two sets from 6:30–7:45 p.m. and 8:45–10 p.m. The band will return on Saturday, October 26th for a three-set marathon, beginning at 5:00–6:15 p.m., 7:15–8:30 p.m., and finally the theatrical “Shebang” set 9:30–11 p.m. Cheese’s “Shebang” performances are a staple of its curated events like Hulaween, Electric Forest, and New Year’s Eve. Last year’s Hulaween special saw a howlingly grand “Full Moon Family Reunion” with covers of Warren Zevon‘s “Werewolves of London”, Sly & The Family Stone‘s “Family Affair”, King Harvest‘s “Dancing in the Moonlight”, Little Feat‘s “Spanish Moon”, Van Morrison‘s “Moondance”, and much more.

Finally, on Sunday, October 27th Hulaween will come to a thrilling, chilling conclusion with The Bobby Weir Incident. String Cheese will perform with the co-founding Grateful Dead guitarist/singer from 5–6:15 p.m. and 6:30–8 p.m. This will mark the first time in Hulaween’s 11-year history that a member of the Grateful Dead has performed, and the first time in 23 years that Cheese and Bobby have joined forces. Cheese was supposed to host a Phil Lesh Incident at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2022, but the bassist had to bow out due to COVID. Fortunately, Cheese called up last-minute ringer Billy Strings who put on an instant classic three-set show with the band filled with plenty of Grateful Dead tributes.
