In just over 24 hours, beloved Christian pop singer Lauren Daigle will be kicking off the Australian leg of her Kaleidoscope Nights world tour – playing some massive shows across the country over the next two weeks. Ahead of her return, the two-time Grammy winner took a brief moment to let Music Feeds know the five things that they can expect from what are sure to be very special shows for her, her band and her devoted Australian fanbase.
Lauren Daigle – ‘Thank God I Do’
1. Joy.
My goal and desire for this tour is that people feel a depth of joy that invigorates their inmost being. I wrote a lot of these songs while coming out of a dark time in my life. I needed God to show me joy that I had never known.
2. Family.
I love giving the audience a sense of family. Sometimes, it is easy to feel alone in this world. These nights are meant to bring people together and give a sense of belonging.
3. Music.
I am excited to be playing songs from each record, with a focus on my latest [2023’s Lauren Daigle]. In the preparation for this tour, I was so excited to see how many songs I hadn’t yet had the chance to play in Australia that I now will.
4. Worship.
My favorite thing about singing is connecting to God. Some people come to the shows full of anticipation to worship. Some come angry at God, wanting nothing to do with Him. Some find God for the first time. I love giving free space and an evening for people to find Him, without any judgment or pressure.
5. Fun.
I love having fun! What would this tour be without it? Some of my favorite stage memories and friendships have come out of this tour, and I know the audience can sense and feel that each night. I am so excited for people to dance, sing and have a great time!
