Lenny Kravitz stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night to perform “Paralyzed”, one of the tracks from his 12th studio album, 2024’s Blue Electric Light.
The smokey, slow-burn rocker is classic Kravitz, laying Lenny’s distinctive croon over heavy-hitting drums and simple but impactful guitar riffs. Angelic, close-harmony backing vocals elevate the song’s anthemic chorus (“Babe, without your love I’m paralyzed”), while a late display of guitar agility by Kravitz adds to its nostalgic, down-the-middle rock and roll charm.
