Tree Of Forgiveness Productions will present a livestream benefit for the Neal Casal Music Foundation beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Saturday, December 5. The webcast will feature performances by Eric Krasno, Kenny Roby and more.
Sadly, Neal Casal died by suicide on August 26, 2019. Friends of the renowned guitarist, songwriter and bandleader created the Neal Casal Music Foundation (NCMF) to honor Neal as well as raise funds and awareness for musical and mental health endeavors.
The foundation’s upcoming livestream benefit hosted by Casal’s lifelong friend and manager Gary Waldman will also see performances and appearances by Brent Rademaker, Jaime Wyatt, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Ross James, Dave Schools, Joe Russo and George Sluppick and Jay Blakesberg. Additionally, one of Neal’s guitars he played on the 2019 Circles Around the Sun tour made by Chris Swope will be auctioned off. The NCMF will also share two previously unheard Casal songs and artist Michelle Petty will detail her craft making guitar string jewelry and showcase some exclusive new items she created using Neal’s old strings.
