Bassist Pino Palladino and multi-instrumentalist/producer Blake Mills continue to share new compositions set to appear on the duo’s forthcoming Notes With Attachments collaboration album due out next month on March 12th.
On Wednesday, the duo shared yet another live studio video with saxophonist Sam Gendel which spotlights their studio performance of “Off The Cuff”. The four-minute clip now follows previously-shared videos for Notes With Attachments tracks including “Man From Molise”, “Ekuté”, “Just Wrong”, and “Djurkel”.
“Off The Cuff” hears the three musicians subtly explore their respective contributions to the instrumental. The minimalist-like approach on this experimental track allows all three to combine their respective elements without overplaying the song’s softer mood.
