Dave Matthews Band confirmed the latest installment of their long-running Live Trax series of live archival releases. Live Trax 46, due on December 7, features an official recording of the band’s July 7, 2018 show at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.
Summer 2018 marked a huge transition for the group who said farewell to co-founding member Boyd Tinsley and inserted keyboardist Buddy Strong into the mix. DMB also fit songs from their new studio album Come Tomorrow into setlists. The new Live Trax contains every note played at a standout show that took place at a venue formerly known as Deer Creek. Strong was thrown to the wolves during the tour debut of “Two Step.” He learned to play the song from the studio version and wasn’t prepared for the ensuing 20+ plus minute monster that took place in Noblesville. Those who pre-order Live Trax 46 will receive a bonus disc featuring highlights from Summer Tour 2018.
