Later this month, famed rock photographer Jay Blakesberg will bring his Between The Dark And Light Grateful Dead slideshow storytelling event to three cities in Florida. Two of the events will feature a live music component while the third will see Blakesberg joined by Oteil Burbridge for an onstage conversation.
Between The Dark And Light finds Blakesberg telling stories and sharing photos from his 40-year career. The first event will take place at the Miami Beach JCC in Miami Beach on November 27. South Florida jam act Unlimited Devotion will perform with special guest Roosevelt Collier after Jay’s presentation. Then, on November 28 at the David Posnack JCC in Davie, Blakesberg’s slideshow/storytelling will be followed by an onstage conversation featuring Jay and Oteil Burbridge. Finally, Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa will host Between The Dark And Light on November 29 as well as a performance from Grateful Dead tribute band Uncle John’s Band.
