New Venue Brooklyn Made Set To Open In September With Jeff Tweedy Concerts

Brooklyn Made Presents announced the upcoming opening of Brooklyn Made, a new 500-capacity music venue in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, New York. The club will launch with concerts by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy on September 30 and October 1.

Brooklyn Made will feature lighting designed by Jeremy Roth and sound by D&B Audiotechnik, “including the Soundscape 3D object-mixing and room emulation platform.” The facility will also provide several amenities for visiting performers such as a carriage house, a private outdoor swimming pool and roof decks. Attached to the music room is the bar (with pool table) Connie’s.

“This venue is truly the headquarters for Brooklyn Made Presents,” commented Anthony Makes. “Myself and my partner Kelly Winrich [of Delta Spirit] wanted to create the most amazing club and I know we’ve accomplished this with Brooklyn Made. The bells and whistles with this place are so far ahead of anything we’ve ever seen and we know – every single artist and fan that comes here – is.”

Additional shows confirmed for the opening week of the venue located at 428 Troutman Street include Greg Dulli on October 2, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on October 4 – 5, Okkervil River on October 6 and Spirit of The Beehive on October 7. Others confirmed for shows at Brooklyn Made include Nathaniel Rateliff (solo acoustic), Steve Earle, Band Of Horses, Menahan Street Band, Budos Band, Whitney, Aqueous, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, The Soul Rebels and Guided By Voices on New Year’s Eve, among others.

Tickets for all Brooklyn Made shows go on sale at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, June 11 through the venue’s ticketing partner DICE.
