Bob Dylan shared audio featuring his performance of “Down Along The Cove” which took place on this date at the 2004 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. “Down Along The Cove” originally appears on Dylan’s 1967 album, John Wesley Harding.
Dylan made his Bonnaroo appearance on Friday, June 11, 2004. Dylan kicked off his set with the aforementioned “Down Along The Cove.” While the John Wesley Harding version is a bit more subdued, Bob’s performance of the song at Bonnaroo was a rollicking rocker.
