Grace Potter Postpones Grand North Point Festival To 2022

74

There’s both bad news and good news from the Grace Potter camp today. While this year’s installment of Potter’s Grand Point North festival has been postponed until 2022, Grace and her band will play a pair of intimate concerts at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11.

Bailen will open for Grace Potter on Friday, September 10. Then, Danielle Ponder serves as support on Saturday, September 11. The shows mark Vermont-native Grace Potter’s first performances at the venue since her Shelburne Museum debut on September 3, 2006.

“After much deliberation, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel Grand Point North 2021,” Grace explained on her social feeds. “We’ve been scrambling ever since receiving the Reopening Guidance from the State of Vermont to pull together the festival, but it’s become clear that we just can’t do in 3 months what normally takes 12 months of planning. Too many sacrifices would have to be made. Our focus now is on making GPNFest 2022 the best version it can be.”

Grand Point North ticketholders can retain their tickets which will automatically transfer to the two Shelburne Museum concerts. Those who cannot attend should email [email protected] by July 15 to request a refund. Note that while Grand Point North was scheduled for Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12; the shows in Shelburne will take place on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11. Fans are advised to adjust their calendars accordingly.

Tickets for Grace Potter’s shows in Shelburne, Vermont go on sale to the general public this Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. ET via Eventbrite (2-Day Passes, September 10, September 11).
