Athens-birthed band of Montreal will embark on an 18-date tour with Locate S, 1 this fall. The excursion currently spans October 30 – November 20 and includes stops on the East Coast and in the Midwest.
Kevin Barnes and company begin the run with a hometown show at Athens’ 40 Watt Club on October 30. of Montreal and support act Locate S, 1 then play The Grey Eagle in Asheville on Halloween. The tour resumes at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina on November 5 ahead of performances in Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Hamden (Connecticut), Rochester and Pittsburgh.
A Midwest swing starts at The Magic Stick in Detroit on November 14. The bands then bring the jaunt to Ohio for shows in Cleveland on November 16, Newark on November 17 and Cincinnati on November 18. Stops at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on November 19 and at Birmingham’s Saturn on November 20 bring the tour to a close.
