Turn that frown ~upside down~ because Stranger Things is officially returning to our screens!
The countdown is ON for Season 4 of the beloved retro-sci-fi series to drop, with Netflix announcing the fourth instalment is primed to hit our screens in 2022.
We’ve been waiting more than two years now to find out whether Jim Hopper is still alive (he is, hundy p) after the show’s production was delayed due to the cursed COVID-19 pandemic.
But now, Netflix has signalled that the wait is almost over, posting a new teaser trailer for Stranger Things 4 on Twitter along with the caption: “See y’all in the upside down. Stranger Things returns in 2022.”
The teaser only contains a few brief flashes of new scenes but regardless, consider our excitement levels cranked to ~eleven~.
OK we’ll stop.
Peep it below!
Meanwhile, ICYMI, a bunch of the Stranger Things cast have launched music careers while our backs were turned, including the actors who play Mike, Dustin, Steve Harrington and (sort-of) Eleven.
