Singer-songwriter Amanda Shires appears on the latest episode of Sound Opinions hosted by Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis. Video footage featuring two songs Amanda performed as part of a Sound Opinions session at Goose Island Tap Room in Chicago has been shared on the program’s YouTube channel.
Amanda Shires performed a session and sat for an interview at Goose Island Tap Room. Shires was joined by guitarist Seth Clemens for a pair of tracks from her recently released To The Sunset album. In the first video, the duo perform “Leave It Alone” from the 2018 LP. Then, Amanda and Seth play “Break Out The Champagne.” Jim and Greg chat with Amanda about her record, motherhood, her writing style and more.
