A few weeks ago JamBase published a list of 10 Acts We’d Like To See Release Recordings Of Every Show. The Tedeschi Trucks Band topped the list and fans have gotten one step closer to the group issuing every show with the launch of the Swamp Family fan club. One of the membership benefits is access to a curated selection of TTB concert recordings.
The band has made two shows available for fan club members that will not be put up for sale elsewhere. Each recording has been mixed and mastered from the original 64-track soundboard recordings. Those who sign up for the fan club will receive a code to download these first two installments of the new Live From The Swamp series, which were recorded in Boston in 2016 and in Chicago earlier this year. A note on the FAQ for the fan club mentions “additional concert downloads will be made available to the general public via nugs.net.”
Other Swamp Family benefits include opportunities to purchase concert tickets in advance of the general public, never-before-seen onstage and backstage video, monthly contests and giveaways, special events and more. “In the future we have some very exciting things that we hope to offer, including live streaming soundboard audio from concerts, special pre-show fan club events and even opportunities to meet and hang with the band,” reads a note about what else the band has planned for members.
