My Morning Jacket will take over SiriusXM Jam On channel 309 beginning on Friday, October 22nd, and running through October 31st. The satellite radio takeover will coincide with the release of the band’s self-titled album, out Friday.
The Louisville, KY-bred psy-pop outfit has a slate of programming planned for its nine days at the helm. Chief among the programming blocks is a track-by-track run-through of My Morning Jacket hosted by frontman Jim James. The band will also offer the exclusive debut of full-show audio from its September 10th return to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY. The show served as the first of a two-night run that saw the band debut “Love Love Love“, set to appear on the new album, at the venue that played host to MMJ’s final pre-COVID concert.
