Phish heads back to Mexico for the third installment of their Phish Riviera Maya destination event over President’s Day Weekend February 21 – 23, 2019. The quartet posted pro-shot video of “Ghost” from their last concert at Phish Riviera Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico on January 15, 2017 to YouTube.
The upcoming installment of Phish Riviera Maya features three full concerts on the beach at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort. On January 15, 2017 the foursome closed out the event with a memorable show that was heavy on improvisation. Phish’s first set was filled with classics including “Simple,” “Tweezer,” “Ghost” and “Fluffhead.” Guitarist Trey Anastasio worked teases of “The Little Drummer Boy” into a “Ghost” that didn’t stray too far outside the lines yet featured a crowd-pleasing peak.
