Pink Floyd/Phish/Talking Heads tribute act Pink Talking Fish brought their fall tour to Park West in Chicago on Friday night. The band was joined by a pair of guests at various points in the night, including guitarist Marcus Rezak and 12-year-old vocalist Eliza Lampert.

Pink Talking Fish pulled from the repertoires of three acts they cover to open the show: Talking Heads’ “Once In A Lifetime,” Phish’s “Simple” and Pink Floyd’s “Empty Spaces” and “Young Lust.” A rendition of “Slippery People” was then followed by a version of “Divided Sky” that included “Time” and “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” within. Bassist Eric Gould went on to bring out Lampert, his 12-year-old cousin. The vocalist, who trains with School Of Rock Chicago and has a voice Gould described as having “a natural sound and power that most singers strive for their entire career,” sang “Have A Cigar” and “Take Me To The River” ahead of the “Run Like An Antelope” that closed the frame.

Friday’s second set began with PTF’s rendition of “Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S.” from Phish’s Kasvot Växt set. They then paired “One Of These Days,” “Moon Rocks” and “Meatstick” before bringing out Rezak to add to “Great Gig In The Sky.” Later in the night, Pink Talking Fish treated fans to an encore featuring Phish’s “Alumni Blues” > “Letter To Jimmy Page” > “Alumni Blues” and Pink Floyd’s “Brain Damage” > “Eclipse.” Watch Eliza Lampert lead the band on “Take Me To The River” below:
