Lukas Nelson Covers Luke Combs’ ‘Doin’ This’

Lukas Nelson recently shared a cover of Luke Combs’ “Doin’ This” on his YouTube channel. Nelson went solo acoustic for his take on the song.

Luke Combs released “Doin’ This” as a single in November. Combs wrote the ode to life as a performer with longtime collaborators Drew Parker and Robert Williford.

“When I heard this Luke Combs song, the lyrics really struck me as poignant,” Lukas Nelson wrote in a note accompanying his “Doin’ This” performance video. “They represent what it means to be an artist. As this year comes to an end, I’m thankful to do what I do. But ‘I’d still be doin’ this, if I wasn’t doin’ this’,” added Lukas in quoting a line from the song.
