Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Twiddle and Lettuce top the initial Northlands Music & Arts Festival 2022 lineup. The two-day event will be held at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire June 24-25.
Cheshire Fairgrounds was dubbed Northlands last year, the second in which the venue hosted concerts after devoting 2020 to drive-in performances as the Drive-In Live series. “Drive-In Live’s 2020 season and Northlands 2021 season were both born out of a necessity to bring live music back safely during the pandemic, which we accomplished safely and successfully,” explained Northlands Executive Director Seth McNally in a statement. “Moving forward in 2022 we are thrilled to evolve into a totally immersive festival experience for the Northlands community.”
Yonder Mountain String Band, Dopapod, Dogs In A Pile and Joe Sambo round out the event’s initial lineup. More acts will be announced soon. All told, Northlands 2022 will feature 12 bands on its two stages over the course of two days along with art installations, performance art, local food trucks and a beer garden.
