Pigeons Playing Ping Pong has revealed the 2022 lineup for Domefest. In addition to six sets from host band PPPP, the festival will feature two sets of Lotus and Spafford, SunSquabi, and more. Domefest will take place May 19th–21st at Legend Valley in Thornville, OH.
Also on the Domefest lineup for 2022 are Kitchen Dwellers, Star Kitchen, Octave Cat, Magic Beans, Karina Rykman, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Funk You, LITZ, Great Blue, Eggy, Dizgo, Dogs in a Pile, Yam Yam, Scrambled Greg, The North 41, Schwa, and Puremotion. The festival will feature another installment of The Domefest All-Stars, hosting the best and brightest from throughout Dome for a star-studded sendoff.
The expansive lineup will see several members of PPPP showcase their solo acts, including bassist Ben Carrey‘s duo Schwa and drummer Alex “Gator” Petropolis‘ outfit Puremotion. Frontman “Scrambled” Greg Ormont will also stage one of his energetically eclectic solo performances. Domefest will host a number of solo projects from throughout the improvisational music scene, including Star Kitchen featuring Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Octave Cat with Jesse Miller (Lotus) and Eli Windermann (Dopapod), and Great Blue, fronted by Peter Anspach (Goose).
Tickets for Domefest 2022 at Legend Valley are on sale now. This will mark the festival’s first full-fledged outing at the central-Ohio hotspot after Pigeons hosted a pandemic-friendly Party In The Pods celebration May 21st–22nd last year.
