Strand of Oaks confirmed details of spring and summer tour dates across the United States. The project’s mastermind, Timothy Showalter, will be joined by a band for concerts spanning May 7 through June 29 in support of 2021’s In Heaven.
The trek, which comes after Strand Of Oaks canceled headlining tour dates last fall, starts in the Midwest with shows in Indianapolis on May 7, Chicago on May 8, Madison (Wisconsin) on May 10, St. Paul on May 11 and Kansas City on May 13. Strand Of Oaks will then perform in Denver on May 15 and Boise on May 17 before a West Coast swing featuring concerts in Seattle on May 18, Portland on May 19, Oakland on May 21, Los Angeles on May 23, San Diego on May 24 and Phoenix on May 25. The first leg ends with a show in Showalter’s current hometown of Austin on May 27.
Strand Of Oaks resume the tour in Fort Worth, Texas on June 8. Next, Showalter and his bandmates play Houston on June 9 and then head up the East Coast for shows in Tampa on June 11, Atlanta on June 12, Carrboro (North Carolina) on June 13, Charlottesville (Virginia) on June 14, Brooklyn on June 16, Philadelphia on June 17, Cambridge (Massachusetts) on June 19, South Burlington (Vermont) on June 21 and Buffalo on June 22. From there it’s back to the Midwest to conclude the excursion with stops in Cleveland on June 24, Pittsburgh on June 25, Ann Arbor on June 26, Louisville on June 28 and Nashville on June 29.
