Angel Olsen continues to preview her forthcoming Big Time studio album with the release of single “Through The Fires.” Big Time is due out on June 3 via Jagjaguwar.
“Through The Fires” is the third single from Big Time shared thus far following the title track and “All The Good Times.” Olsen recorded the 10-track LP with Jonathan Wilson at his Fivestar Studios facility in Topanga, California. Angel will support the album this summer by embarking on The Wild Hearts Tour with Sharon Van Etten and Julien Baker.

Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen & Julien Baker Confirm The Wild Hearts Tour 2022
Angel’s latest single features a haunting string arrangement composed by Drew Erickson. “‘Through The Fires’ is the centerpiece statement of this record,” explained Olsen. “It’s a song I wrote to remind myself that this life is temporary, the past is not something to dwell on, that it’s important to keep moving, keep searching for the people that are also searching, and to notice the moments that are lighter and bigger than whatever trouble I’ve encountered.”
